Fusion UDM Professional - comprehensive thin client device management as standard
Fusion UDM Professional eases the transition to your new virtualised environment by providing a universal management console for all your thin clients running Microsoft Windows Embedded, VXL Gio6 Linux or other third party vendor Windows Embedded OS devices. Fusion UDM Professional comes as standard and is free of cost when supplied with VXL thin client devices. For non-VXL devices a small perpetual license cost is due.
Fusion UDM Professional can find devices quickly and easily, via a range of methods, including agentless discovery, DNS name, DHCP Scope Options, IP, Hostname, Network Range, UDP Broadcast – and more. We’re pretty confident that if it’s out there, Fusion will find it.
Information is everything, and Fusion UDM Professional makes reporting it easy. Always simple to access, Fusion UDM Professional’s dashboards provide a detailed insight into every aspect of your infrastructure. Comprehensive reports can be accessed as needed – and exported to Excel or PDF for analysis or presentation.
Fusion UDM Professional’s comprehensive device configuration and management capabilities deliver an outstanding level of control on a near-to or real-time basis. As you’d expect, Fusion UDM Professional can push out OS upgrades as easily as it handles software updates.
For many organisations, their most significant IT cost is power. Fusion UDM Professional enables organisations to manage their power consumption proactively – for example, by shutting down devices (or putting them into standby) when not needed – and then waking them ready for use.
Fusion UDM Professional handles scheduled task management with ease. Tasks from simple to complex can be defined and then deployed easily across multiple devices. And of course tasks can be saved for reuse, scheduled if repetitive and combined into sets.
Fusion UDM Professional goes beyond the traditional expectations of mainstream management software, with a range of add-ons which significantly harden an organisation’s security. These include the ability to create secured, encrypted zones on PCs/laptops – everything from a single file to complete directories.
Sometimes, IT teams just need to take control. Although this is often achieved with proprietary software, remote control using either VNC or RDP also comes as standard with Fusion UDM Professional.
Fusion UDM Professional supports popular operating system platforms, including Microsoft Windows Embedded and VXL Gio6 Linux, for highly effective management of thin clients (desktops & laptops). Highly scalable, Fusion UDM Professional also has the capability and flexibility to manage networks of any size, from tens to tens of thousands of devices.
